- Reconsider the impact and expectation to do annual awareness programs
- Align 2–3 group programs to business objectives and member needs
- Plan for accessibility and timing to accommodate all potential participants
- Know where to find free or low-cost programming resources

- Identify what the key ERG stakeholders need to know and how
- Define a process to consistently recognize and appreciate key contributors
- Learn how to measure communication effectiveness
- Create a Communications Plan using all available channels
